The end of year holiday season is almost upon us and that means it’s time to reflect on your favourite footballers for 2014 and select them for your personal dream team with our FIFA/FIFPro World XI Predictor game!

Predict The World XI correctly and you could win shirts and footballs signed by some of the biggest names to ever play the beautiful game.

The World XI

On 12 January 2015 the biggest names in football will travel to Zurich for the annual FIFA Ballon d’Or. At the Gala, the world’s best players and coaches for 2014 will be honoured and presented with awards. One such award is the FIFA/FIFPro World XI. 11 players, as voted for by over 20,000 professional footballers, will be awarded a place in the World XI for 2014.

How to play

FIFA.com will release the 55 shortlisted names for the FIFA/FIFPro World XI in four separate phases. Once the first shortlist is live on FIFA.com you can start selecting and experimenting with your World XI. Here are the official release dates for the shortlists:

• 24 November: Goalkeepers revealed. View the goalkeepers shortlist.
• 26 November: Defenders revealed
• 28 November: Midfielders revealed
• 1 December: Forwards revealed

You can change your World XI as often as you like prior to the contest deadline. Just make sure to submit your final team before 16:00pm (CET) on 9 January 2015.

Prizes

Predict the actual World XI that will be announced in Zurich at the FIFA Ballon D’Or on 12 January 2015 and you could win a massive Grand Prize bundle that includes a shirt signed by FIFA Ballon d'Or 2013 Men’s’ Player of the Year nominees Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Franck Ribery; a shirt signed by 2013 Women’s Player of the Year nominees Nadine Angerer, Abby Wambach and Marta and an adidas fooball signed by Hollywood star and football fanatic Hugh Jackman!

All Club members that correctly predict the official FIFA/FIFPro World XI for 2014 will be entered into the Grand Prize draw. In the event that no one gets all 11 names correct, the Club member with the closest prediction to the World XI will be awarded the prize. The first name drawn will win the Grand Prize.
